More about the Nebelung
The Nebelung is a pedigree breed of domestic cat. Nebelungs have long bodies, wide-set green eyes, long and dense solid blue-coloured fur, and mild dispositions. The Nebelung was developed to resemble the early blue-grey cats imported from Russia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, combined with a semi-long coat. The cat is related to the Russian Blue, but with longer, silkier hair, and is in fact sometimes (incorrectly) called the Long-haired Russian Blue.

A quietly elegant blue-grey beauty who watches from a high perch before deciding you're worth her time, and once you are, she's devoted.
Personality & fit
Gentle and soft-spoken, the Nebelung tends to be shy with strangers and takes her time warming up to new people or situations. Once she's comfortable, she's deeply affectionate and playful with her chosen people, and does well with familiar kids and dogs.
Exercise & energy
Moderate energy, she enjoys interactive play, especially retrieving games, and loves having tall cat trees or shelves to climb so she can survey her territory from above. Regular play sessions keep her engaged without overwhelming her reserved nature.
Grooming & coat
Her long, silky coat needs a brush a couple of times a week to prevent tangles and manage shedding. It's a lower-maintenance semi-long coat than some, since it lacks a heavy undercoat, but consistency keeps it smooth.
